Title: Amazing Family Retreat in Weligama
My wife says that a little more variety in the breakfast options would have been nice for families with children.

The villa had a massive swimming pool, perfect for our daily pool parties with the squad. And let me tell you, the beach in Mirissa and Weligama was off the charts! We were ripping it up on the waves, showing off our sick surfing skills. It was the ultimate summer getaway, just us and our crew, living our best lives!
If there's one thing we could've used for even more fun, it would be some crazy party games or activities organized by the villa. It would've been epic to have some beach volleyball or even a DJ to pump up the jams during our pool parties.

The Siri Wedamadura Villa is a hidden gem in Mirissa, just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful beach. the location is perfect, offering both privacy and easy access to the main road and other beach restaurants. the villa itself is stunning, with tastefully decorated rooms and a spacious garden filled with peacocks, monkeys, and lizards. the staff is friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make your stay comfortable. the chef, Ravi, prepares delicious meals using the freshest ingredients, and the pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the wildlife.
Although the villa is well-designed and comfortable, it could benefit from a few more furnishings in the rooms to make them feel less bare.

Expansive lawned gardens: The villa was nestled in beautiful gardens with a meandering pond and stunning panoramic views. It felt like being in a tropical paradise. Discreet staff team: The staff were incredibly helpful and ensured the villa was clean and secure. They even prepared delicious meals upon request. Beanbag-furnished living room: The living room was cozy and unique, with beanbags and natural light streaming in from a skylight. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Refreshingly minimal interiors: The villa was elegantly furnished with a select sprinkling of antiques and artifacts, creating a tasteful and serene atmosphere. Outdoor pool: The villa featured an inviting outdoor pool, perfect for a refreshing swim or lounging by the water.
Monkeys entering rooms: One minor issue was the need to lock up the rooms in the evening due to monkeys potentially entering.

The house is absolutely stunning, with jaw-dropping interior design and a spacious garden filled with an incredible array of animals. The staff at this young-adult-friendly villa were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Ravi, the chef, was out of this world, creating mind-blowing meals tailored to our preferences. We loved being able to choose our dinner in the morning, and Ravi would expertly prepare it for us at cost price. The pool was great, and we often had it to ourselves. The location was perfect, just a short stroll away from Mirissa beach and Secret Beach, but still offering a sense of privacy and tranquility. We can't recommend this place enough!

I had an amazing stay at Siri Wedamadura Villa By Gradely Estate. The property is beautifully designed with a modern and artistic feel. The villa is surrounded by a stunning garden and jungle-like setting, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It was truly a unique experience to live in such a beautiful environment. The chef, Manju, cooked the most delicious breakfast for us every morning and was always ready to assist. The housekeeper was friendly and provided us with helpful information. The security and gardeners were pleasant and ensured the grounds were well-maintained. With peacocks, Komodo dragons, birds, and squirrels roaming the property, it truly felt like an escape from the city. I highly recommend Siri Wedamadura Villa By Gradely Estate for a different and memorable Sri Lankan experience. I will definitely be coming back.

An easy 5-minute walk brought me to the stunning nearby beach.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I absolutely adored the decoration of Siri Wedamadura Villa! The interiors were tastefully arranged with elegant furniture and beautiful artwork. The common areas, like the living room and dining veranda, were spacious and welcoming, making it easy for me to navigate around as a senior woman. The garden-view veranda was particularly delightful, with comfortable rattan chairs where I could relax and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. It truly felt like a hidden oasis, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is a handrail on the staircase. It would provide extra stability and support, especially for those with mobility issues.
